A university professor grew the cells for the worlds first windpipe transplant.

A private jet had to be chartered to get the cells to the destination on time.

New PaSA & DOH Guidelines

From the 01/10/2008 all agency staff working in a NHS Hospital must now have proof of immunity to MMR in addition to previous occupational health requirements.

 

Staff working in A&E and Operating Theatre must be EPP cleared. Please ensure your are fully complaint with the new EPP guidelines. A full list of the guidelines are available under the Q&A (questions and answers) area on web site. If you have any questions re your occupational health status please contact Nursing Personnel for further information.
