NHS PaSA to be replaced

According to recruitment sources the NHS PaSA ( Purchasing and Supply Agency) is to be replaced by a new Department of Health commercial office. This is should come into place next year. PaSA’s functions are anticipated to be replaced by NHS Regional Support Units that will run on a more commercial footing.

This is new approach hopefully will allow agencies to operate without as much red tape. This should speed up the recruitment process for Doctors seeking jobs and allow agencies operate more efficiently.
