On the 1st of August 2009 the new EU working time directive will come into effect.
This will make it difficult for NHS doctors to work more than 48 hours per week. As a result of this new legislation MPP Locums have an abundance of NHS doctor vacancies that need to be filled.
As a result of this legislation junior and senior doctors will be restricted from working long hours thus increasing the need for additional doctors and locum doctors to cover the additional hours on hospital wards.
Under the new legislation NHS Hospitals will have to have a full complement of senior doctors to supervise and train junior doctors, increasing pressure on NHS Trusts across the UK to recruit and fill vacant posts. MPP Locums are also assisting NHS Trust in recruiting for these senior doctor roles.
MPP Locums have been appointed primary locum recruitment agency to a number of NHS Trusts across the UK. Our task is to recruit nationally and internationally locum doctors for all grades including FY1 and FY2 doctors, Specialty Doctors, and Consultants.
With these new EU working time directive changes MPP Locums can guarantee doctors work across the UK on fixed term placements or long term locum contracts.
If you wish to apply to work as a locum or would like more information on long term locum jobs visit the jobs section on www.mpplocums.co.uk or call 0845 122 0414. Email CVs to registrations@mpplocums.co.uk
